M&A Analyst (m/w/d)

Role overview

This position is for an M&A Advisory Analyst with placement opportunities in Frankfurt am Main or Hamburg. The role sits within a number of dynamic boutique firms that are active in deal execution and offer a strong flow of transactions. As an analyst, you will be involved in live projects from the start and can expect a fast-paced environment with early responsibility.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare pitches, teasers, and information memoranda.
• Support demanding and complex transactions.
• Carry out due diligence work for both buy-side and sell-side processes.
• Build company valuations and handle detailed financial analysis and data preparation.

Candidate profile

• 0 to 2 years of professional experience in M&A, private equity, valuation, or transaction services.
• Strong academic background; a bachelor’s degree is sufficient.
• Excellent financial modelling skills and a sharp analytical mindset.
• High level of initiative and commitment, along with confident communication in German and English.
• Very good command of MS Office.
