Role Summary
This full-time, on-site position in Riyadh is focused on managing logistics operations from start to finish. The role covers inventory control, warehousing, transportation, and distribution, with the goal of ensuring goods move on time and at the right cost. You will work closely with procurement and supply chain teams to plan deliveries, review supplier performance, keep records accurate, solve logistics challenges, and support process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day logistics activities so shipments move efficiently through the supply chain.
- Coordinate warehousing, transport, and distribution functions to meet internal and customer requirements.
- Monitor inventory levels, support replenishment planning, and help prevent stock shortages or overstocks.
- Partner with procurement and supply chain teams to schedule deliveries and align supply with demand.
- Track supplier performance and maintain clear, accurate logistics documentation.
- Identify and resolve operational issues affecting movement, storage, or delivery of goods.
- Measure logistics KPIs and use performance data to improve operations.
- Ensure activities follow applicable regulations and company policies.
- Lead continuous improvement efforts across logistics processes and workflows.
- Supervise logistics team members and support their training and development.
- Maintain effective communication with internal teams and outside partners.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Solid experience in logistics management and supply chain operations, including routing, warehousing, and distribution planning.
- Good command of inventory control practices, including stock tracking and replenishment management.
- Background in procurement or vendor coordination, with the ability to support purchasing and align supply planning.
- Customer service skills to handle questions, set expectations, and help ensure accurate, timely deliveries.
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a similar field; equivalent hands-on experience is also acceptable.
- Ability to guide teams, manage multiple priorities, and work effectively in a busy on-site setting in Riyadh.
- Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills, along with familiarity with logistics or ERP systems.
- Knowledge of local regulations, import/export processes, and safety requirements is beneficial.
