Architecture Media is hiring a journalism graduate to join the team as a full-time news reporter for ArchitectureAu.com and Houses (digital). The role focuses on reporting across the architecture, design, and planning sectors, with an emphasis on developments in Australia.

Selection criteria

• Produce copy that is sharp, succinct, balanced, factually correct, and interesting to read.
• Understand and use the core techniques of news gathering, reporting, and writing.
• Have experience developing content for websites and social media platforms.
• Bring subediting experience and/or formal training in subediting.
• Remain effective when working under pressure and in situations where details may be unclear.
• Demonstrate strong people skills and the ability to work well with others.

Experience

Candidates should have 1 to 3 years of experience in a relevant position.
