Main duties

• Load the van correctly and follow safe handling practices, including manual handling for heavier items.
• Drive carefully and follow all road safety requirements at all times.
• Carry out routine van inspections before and during shifts.
• Make sure groceries reach customers in the best possible condition.
• Deliver friendly, high-quality customer service on every route.
• Support the store team with tasks when additional help is needed.
• Work on your own initiative and manage time effectively.
• Be available for flexible shift patterns, with working hours that may fall anywhere between 6:00 am and 11:00 pm.

Candidate profile

• You must hold a full driving licence that has been valid for at least 3 years and carry no more than 6 penalty points.
• You should be approachable, upbeat, and committed to giving customers a positive experience.
• Punctuality and the ability to meet deadlines are important in this role.
• A strong understanding of road safety is essential.
