About the role
mika AI is looking for a Growth Marketer who will shape and run the company’s growth funnel together with the Head of Growth. The work spans the full customer journey, from demand generation and awareness through conversion and lifecycle marketing to retention. The team sets the strategic direction together, while you take charge of execution with support.
This is not a traditional performance marketing position. The company is seeking a broad-based T-shaped generalist who can think across content, conversion, and channel strategy, and who is able to implement much of it independently with the help of AI.
The role can be based in Berlin or Cologne.
What you'll do
- Build and improve the entire funnel end to end, owning the customer journey from demand generation and awareness through conversion, lifecycle, and retention.
- Design conversion flows and bring them to life with AI-enabled tools, including landing pages, lead capture flows, and nurture sequences. You will prototype directly using tools such as Cursor, Framer, Webflow, and LLM APIs rather than waiting on outside execution.
- Manage performance channels such as paid social, paid search, SEO, and partnerships/affiliate, deciding together with the Head of Growth where the next budget should go and then executing on that plan.
- Set up partnerships and affiliate programs, including integration partners, distribution multipliers, targeted collaborations, and the full affiliate setup from program design to tracking.
- Automate growth operations with AI using tools like Zapier, Make, n8n, and LLM APIs to create smarter systems for reporting, lead scoring, content operations, retargeting triggers, and sales handoffs.
- Write core copy for conversion-focused assets yourself. AI is a support tool, but judgment on tone, hook, and clarity stays with you. You will also brief and review long-form content such as blogs, whitepapers, case studies, and organic social content.
What we're looking for
We are looking for someone with 3 to 5 years of experience in cross-channel growth or marketing, ideally for products that require explanation or education.
You should be highly analytical, comfortable working with funnel KPIs, able to build your own dashboards, and used to making decisions based on data rather than intuition.
Hands-on AI experience is important. You should already have built working AI projects or workflows, either professionally or privately. A coding background is not required, but curiosity and enjoyment of building are essential.
We need someone who works independently and in a structured way, without requiring close supervision or constant briefings.
Strong communication skills are essential. You should have German at C2 level and fluent English, and be able to write clearly, present with precision, and communicate confidently with founders, developers, and customers alike.
The role is open to candidates based in Berlin or Cologne, with hybrid work available and the exact arrangement agreed together.
You should also be willing to travel for team meetings, events, and partner discussions when coordinated in advance.
Who this role is not for
This position is not a fit for someone who wants to manage a narrow performance specialty inside an established team. It also is not suitable for someone who wants to deepen within a single specialist track over the next two years. The role is for someone who wants to think broadly, build independently, and help shape a function from the ground up.
