Graphic Designer

About the Role

Agency Helix is hiring a Graphic Designer who can craft strong visual communication for digital channels. This role is ideal for someone with solid design fundamentals, advanced motion graphics capability, and prior exposure to government or public-sector communication work in the UAE. Fluency in Arabic across reading, writing, and speaking is required.

What You’ll Do

• Create polished graphics for social media, digital campaigns, presentations, and marketing collateral.
• Produce animations, motion graphics, and other video-based creative assets for online platforms.
• Turn creative briefs into original concepts and visually effective design solutions.
• Make sure all deliverables stay consistent with brand standards and campaign goals.
• Work closely with creative, content, strategy, and account teams to deliver integrated outputs.
• Adapt design and animation work for Arabic and bilingual Arabic-English audiences.
• Handle several assignments at once while keeping pace with deadlines.
• Keep up with current design trends, motion graphics methods, and AI-assisted creative tools.

Requirements

• Fluent in Arabic, both written and spoken.
• A bachelor’s degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Multimedia, Visual Arts, or a similar discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience in graphic design and motion graphics.
• Prior work with government bodies, public-sector organizations, or government-related campaigns in the UAE is strongly preferred.
• A strong portfolio showing both static design and motion work.
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and advanced Adobe After Effects.
• Strong grasp of typography, composition, layout, and branding principles.
• Experience with AI-based creative tools such as Adobe Firefly, Midjourney, and Runway.
• Basic skills in video editing and post-production.
• Advanced animation capability.
• Creative, detail-oriented, and able to organize work effectively under pressure.
• Strong communication, collaboration, adaptability, and willingness to learn new tools and technologies.

Preferred Experience

Experience handling government and semi-government accounts in the UAE, designing social media campaigns, and creating motion graphics for awareness drives, events, and public communication initiatives will be an advantage.

This is a full-time, onsite role based in Abu Dhabi, Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates.
