Role Overview

This position is for a Graphic Designer based in New York City. The role focuses on creating polished visuals for both product and marketing use, helping define how the brand looks and feels across touchpoints.

What You’ll Do

• Create attractive and engaging graphics for product experiences and marketing materials.
• Develop posters and event imagery that serve as the visual identity for users’ parties.
• Work closely with product design teammates to strengthen the visual narrative of the product.
• Collaborate with marketing to support launches, campaigns, and broader brand communication.
• Translate complicated ideas into clear, appealing, and easy-to-understand visuals.
• Build and expand a library of graphic components that support and express the brand.

What You’ll Need

• About 2–3 years of experience creating product and marketing graphics, preferably in a startup or consumer social environment.
• A portfolio that demonstrates strong visual judgment, thoughtful problem-solving, and clear communication.
• The ability to move quickly from concept to execution and generate on-brand visual ideas on short timelines.
• Experience handling several projects at once.
• A solid understanding of typography, composition, hierarchy, layout, and visual refinement.
• A collaborative approach, with openness to feedback and comfort working closely with others.
• A product-aware design mindset that balances usability, user flow, and aesthetics.

Bonus Experience

These are not required, but the team would welcome experience in any of the following areas:

• Motion design or micro-animations using tools like Lottie, Rive, or CSS.
• 3D graphics work using Blender or Spline.
• Storyboarding for animations and demo videos.
• Copywriting.
• Designing in Framer.
• Building icon sets.
• Working on design systems.
• Illustration, photography, video editing, or similar specialist creative skills.

Compensation

The offered salary range for this position is $90,000 to $110,000, depending on years of experience.
