Role Overview
We are hiring General Cleaners for an academic facility in Aiken, South Carolina. This is a full-time, on-site position on the second shift, scheduled from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM.
What the Job Involves
- Keep buildings clean by sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and wiping down different surfaces.
- Collect waste and empty trash containers.
- Restock, clean, and maintain restroom areas.
- Prepare and dilute cleaning chemicals as directed by product instructions.
- Move furniture, equipment, and other heavy items when needed.
- Spot maintenance or repair issues and pass them along to the right staff.
- Perform floor care tasks when required, such as carpet steam cleaning, waxing, and buffing.
- Take on additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- Good physical stamina and manual dexterity.
- Ability to notice safety risks and report them appropriately.
- Must have reliable transportation.
