Role overview

This opportunity is for a flexible back-up nanny position supporting several families as needed. The role is suited to someone who enjoys a lively, creative, and adaptable childcare environment. You will work as part of an on-call team and can schedule shifts around school, family responsibilities, or another part-time job.

What the job involves

• Provide in-home care for children without needing to drive them anywhere.
• Limit household tasks to simple cleanup related to your activities or meals with the child.
• Support families with children from infancy through toddler age, with the greatest need for care for children under 2 years old.
• Keep children safe and engaged through hands-on, age-appropriate activities based on your observations of their developmental stage.

Pay and benefits

• Hourly pay ranges from $23 to $26.50.

Candidate profile

• You should be available for any 3 or more weekdays, with 6 to 8 hour shifts between 7:00 am and 7:00 pm.
• You should be communicative, responsive to the staffing supervisor, and ready to greet each family with a positive attitude.
