Full Time Accountant

Overview

Omega Pos Technology is looking for a full-time Accountant to support day-to-day finance and accounting operations in the United States. This role focuses on keeping books accurate, handling routine accounting tasks, and providing reliable financial information to management.

What you'll do

• Record and process daily accounting entries and maintain up-to-date financial records.
• Draft, update, and organize financial statements, summaries, and reports.
• Manage both accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
• Carry out bank reconciliations and broader account reconciliations.
• Track invoices, expense activity, customer collections, and outgoing payments.
• Keep accounting files complete, well-documented, and properly stored.
• Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis when needed.
• Follow company policies, accounting rules, and applicable legal requirements.
• Work with leadership and internal teams on finance-related matters.
• Help with year-end closing, audits, and tax support documents.

What we're looking for

• At least 5 years of accounting experience or a comparable finance background.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Hands-on experience with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to prepare reports, reconciliations, and financial statements accurately.
• High level of precision and strong focus on detail.
• Well-developed organizational and time management skills.
• Comfort working independently and handling confidential information responsibly.
• Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience in software, retail, restaurant, or POS-based businesses is an added advantage.
