About the Property

Role Overview
The resort is hiring Front Office Agents for both ongoing and fixed-term engagements. This position is central to the guest journey, supporting arrivals through to departure while balancing front desk administration with hands-on guest assistance.
Key Duties
- Act as the main point of contact for communication across the hotel.
- Welcome guests and manage check-ins and check-outs smoothly and professionally.
- Handle room bookings and guest correspondence.
- Support guests with activities and lodge experiences.
- Prepare guest accounts, complete daily balancing and audit tasks, and manage related administration.
- Assist with luggage handling, valet parking, and guest vehicle care.
- Step in with other operational tasks as needed to support the broader lodge team.
Candidate Profile
The ideal applicant enjoys a busy, service-oriented environment and has a strong commitment to excellent hospitality. You should be polished, adaptable, and comfortable working with guests in person and over the phone.
Additional Information
This role requires dependable personal transport because the property is private and remote. Applicants must already hold a valid working holiday visa or have the right to work in New Zealand.

What You’ll Need
- Experience in a guest-facing or front office position, preferably in luxury hospitality.
- Strong organizational and communication abilities.
- A confident, professional approach both face-to-face and by phone.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, set priorities, and stay composed under pressure.
- Excellent personal grooming and presentation.
- A full driver’s licence and solid physical fitness.
- Experience using OPERA Cloud or a similar system is advantageous but not mandatory.
- A friendly, engaging personality and a genuine smile.
