Role overview

This on-site, full-time Fireman position is based in Dhuri, Sangrur, Punjab, 148024. The role focuses on maintaining fire safety readiness across the workplace, ensuring equipment is functional, and responding quickly in the event of a fire or other emergency.

What the role involves

• Keep fire safety systems and equipment under regular watch and ensure they remain ready for use.
• Perform scheduled checks and inspections of fire protection assets and safety arrangements.
• React promptly to fire incidents and emergency situations following established procedures.
• Carry out fire hazard reviews and help identify areas where risk can be reduced.
• Support the rollout of fire prevention practices and workplace safety controls.
• Ensure fire safety standards and statutory requirements are being followed.
• Organize and participate in fire drills to strengthen emergency preparedness.
• Assist in delivering fire safety awareness and training sessions for employees.
• Maintain accurate logs, records, and inspection notes related to fire safety activities.

Qualification and experience

Applicants should have a solid understanding of fire safety procedures, firefighting methods, and emergency response practices.
