Role Overview

LEAMS Education is hiring a Fashion Designer for Zyra Design And Fabric Studio in Aluva, Kochi, Kerala. The role suits someone with 2 to 5 years of experience in fashion design and a Degree or Diploma in Fashion Designing.

Key Responsibilities

• Guide the design process from the initial concept stage all the way to final styling and presentation.
• Work closely with team members to define seasonal themes, refine line plans, and develop fresh design ideas.
• Make sure the final product aligns with the overall business direction and strategy.
• Choose suitable fabrics and trims for each design.
• Prepare production sketches to support development packages.
• Coordinate with the technical designer so that development packages are complete and accurate.
• Review garments for style, appearance, and fit during presentation stages.
• Stay current with changing fashion trends, including developments in fabrics, colors, and silhouettes.
• Present storyboards, mood boards, color palettes, and sample collections to buyers, and assist the sales team in promoting and selling products.

Experience and Education

The employer expects applicants to have 2 to 5 years of relevant fashion design experience along with a Degree or Diploma in Fashion Designing.
