Role overview

This is an entry-level recruitment position based in New York City’s Midtown area. The role begins on site for the first 8 weeks and then moves to a hybrid pattern of 4 days in the office. The start date is July 13.

What the role involves

The consultant will help generate revenue by matching strong candidates with client opportunities and building long-term professional relationships.

• Manage a warm desk with active live vacancies
• Source, contact, and coordinate high-quality candidates
• Assist with client meetings and hiring discussions
• Build knowledge in a specialist, fast-growing market
• Set personal targets and work toward revenue goals

Candidate profile

The employer is seeking someone with at least 1 year of experience in sales, retail, or another target-based environment. Strong in-person and telephone communication is important, along with resilience, a solid work ethic, and openness to coaching and development. A long-term interest in building a career in recruitment is also expected.

Compensation and benefits

The base salary is $55,000, with uncapped commission of up to 40%. First-year on-target earnings are expected to fall between $75,000 and $85,000, with further growth potential after that. Benefits include health, dental, vision, and 401(k) coverage, along with weekly incentives, early Friday finishes, global trips, team events, and the possibility of international relocation. The role also offers a path toward senior leadership positions.
