Dynatrace Consultant

Role Overview

We are looking for a Dynatrace specialist to support digital banking services in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This position focuses on observability, monitoring, and performance engineering for mobile and digital banking platforms. The goal is to provide live visibility, early warning signals, and actionable technical insights across production systems.

What You Will Do

• Build and maintain end-to-end Dynatrace dashboards that cover the front end, APIs, and infrastructure layers.
• Align monitoring views with business measures such as transaction success, response time, error rates, and user activity.
• Write and tune DQL queries to pull meaningful insights from observability data.
• Set up and manage user journey funnels to understand customer behavior and spot where users drop off.
• Configure Session Replay to review real user sessions and support issue analysis.
• Design alerting approaches using anomaly detection, smart alerts, and threshold-based rules.
• Route alerts and notifications to support and engineering teams through appropriate workflows.
• Equip digital support teams with dashboards and training so they can handle first-level troubleshooting.
• Work with DevOps, QA, and engineering teams to connect Dynatrace with CI/CD pipelines.
• Continuously improve monitoring coverage and overall observability maturity.
• Ensure monitoring practices follow data privacy and regulatory standards.

Skills and Experience Needed

• At least 5 years of practical experience using Dynatrace in enterprise environments.
• Proven ability to create production-ready dashboards and monitoring solutions.
• Strong command of Dynatrace Query Language (DQL) and metric expressions.
• Experience with funnel setup, user journey analysis, and business event tracking.
• Hands-on exposure to Session Replay configuration and analysis.
• Solid understanding of APM fundamentals, including distributed tracing, log management, RUM, synthetic monitoring, and infrastructure monitoring.
• Experience monitoring mobile applications on both iOS and Android in Dynatrace.
• Ability to configure alerts, anomaly detection, and integrations with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow and PagerDuty.
• Background in banking, fintech, or other regulated environments is preferred.
• Strong analytical thinking with the ability to interpret logs, metrics, and traces.
• Good communication, stakeholder management, documentation, and reporting skills.
• Comfort working in fast-paced, high-availability environments.
