Role Overview
This contract role focuses on high-volume review of documents and data, with an emphasis on accuracy, consistency, privacy protection, and process compliance. The work involves both structured and unstructured information, including material that may contain sensitive personal data.
Compensation
The pay range for this position is $63 to $119 per hour.
Key Responsibilities
- Examine large sets of structured and unstructured records carefully to confirm they are complete and accurate.
- Spot and escalate data quality concerns, inconsistencies, and any risks tied to personally identifiable information.
- Label, categorize, and when required, remove or obscure sensitive data to support privacy and compliance requirements.
- Work strictly within defined rules, classification systems, and process workflows for validation and categorization.
- Carry out quality checks to confirm data remains intact and outputs meet the required standard.
- Keep thorough logs of reviewed materials and all actions completed so work can be tracked and audited.
- Coordinate with the client team and communicate findings and recommendations clearly in both written and spoken form.
Candidate Profile
- Hands-on background in document review, auditing, annotation, redaction, or large-scale data classification.
- Strong focus and accuracy, especially when handling repetitive review tasks.
- Understanding of how personally identifiable information should be handled and protected.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills for documenting outcomes and sharing updates with teammates.
- Ability to work within detailed instructions and follow established classification frameworks.
- Experience with QA, validation, or review processes on substantial data sets.
- Capacity to maintain both speed and precision while working remotely.
Preferred Background
- Experience in legal, compliance, privacy, auditing, or information security environments.
- Exposure to AI or machine learning data support work.
- Comfort using collaboration tools and digital workflow systems.
