Role Summary
This is a full-time, on-site position in Abu Dhabi for a Document Controller. The role centers on keeping project documentation well organized, current, and easily available to the right stakeholders.
Key Duties
- Receive, check, and log incoming documents.
- Maintain both digital and physical filing systems in an orderly and controlled manner.
- Ensure documentation practices follow company standards as well as project-specific procedures.
- Work closely with project teams to monitor document progress and status.
- Issue approved documents to the appropriate recipients.
- Support audits and inspections by retrieving and supplying required records.
- Communicate with internal teams and external parties about document requirements and submission timelines.
Qualifications and Skills
- Strong capability in document management and records handling to protect, organize, and track project and corporate information.
- Experience in preparing, reviewing, and maintaining project documentation accurately and in line with compliance needs.
- Good communication skills for coordinating document workflows with project teams, consultants, and clients.
- Hands-on familiarity with document control systems, Microsoft Office, and electronic filing tools.
- Background in engineering, construction, or consultancy settings, preferably within the GCC, is an advantage.
- High attention to detail, strong organization, and a proactive attitude toward deadlines are essential.
- A diploma or degree in engineering, business administration, information management, or a related discipline is preferred.
