Role Overview
The Los Angeles corporate office is hiring a full-time Digital Designer, internally titled Graphic Designer I, to join the SHEGLAM creative team. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about beauty, has experience working in e-commerce, and can produce compelling visual content for a global audience. This position calls for imagination, flexibility, and strong teamwork in a fast-moving environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop visual assets for digital campaigns, print pieces, paid advertising, social media, landing pages, email, SMS, presentations, and related formats.
- Work with cross-functional partners to interpret briefs and deliver creative work aligned with the brand.
- Maintain a consistent brand look and message while ensuring accuracy and compliance with style standards.
- Keep design files organized, accessible, and version-controlled.
- Edit, adapt, and reformat video content for social media, advertising, and offline screens.
- Support photo and video productions on location and help keep creative output aligned with brand direction.
- Monitor beauty and fashion trends, design trends, TikTok content, and marketing campaigns, then share insights to inform creative decisions.
- Evaluate website design, brand guidelines, and other creative materials, and refine work based on feedback from colleagues and stakeholders.
- Visit nearby beauty retailers to observe packaging innovations and shelf presentation trends.
- Help develop packaging concepts, including both two-dimensional and three-dimensional visual renderings.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent background, in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related discipline; comparable experience may also be considered.
- A portfolio demonstrating a range of creative work across different formats, such as digital assets, packaging visuals, and posters.
- Strong command of Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, along with Figma, Google Workspace, and similar tools.
- Prior exposure to project management platforms such as Asana, Wrike, or Jira.
- Ability to generate original concepts and think creatively.
- Good understanding of typography, layout, color, and composition.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present design ideas effectively.
- A collaborative, positive attitude and the ability to work well within a team.
- Comfort working under pressure, handling multiple assignments at once, and meeting demanding deadlines.
- Preferred: experience with motion graphics or video editing tools such as After Effects or Premiere Pro, plus familiarity with UX/UI principles.
- Preferred: exposure to 3D rendering tools used for packaging visualization.

Compensation
The expected pay rate for this role is between $26 and $35 per hour.
