What you will do

You will help keep the store and vehicle preparation area operating at a high standard so customers receive prompt, courteous, and top-quality service. The job includes driving, detailing, and cleaning vehicles, along with supporting the overall appearance and readiness of the facility.

The role involves hands-on automotive reconditioning work such as washing exteriors, waxing and buffing surfaces, vacuuming interiors, cleaning upholstery and other surfaces, drying vehicles with air tools and cloths, and applying protective products to help prevent stains and damage. You may also be asked to clean engine areas and use dyes, paints, and waxes to protect leather or fabric surfaces.

You should be ready to take on additional duties whenever operational needs require it.

Working conditions

• This is a physically active job that involves frequent bending, lifting, reaching, squatting, and moving in and out of vehicles throughout the shift.
• Work may be performed outdoors and in changing weather conditions.
• You will handle and move multiple vehicles during the workday.
• Safe, OSHA-approved cleaning products such as window cleaner, tar remover, and tire shine will be used.
• The work requires repeated use of the spine, hands, wrists, and fingers.
• You may need to push, pull, lift, or carry up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• You must be able to receive detailed instructions clearly through verbal communication.
• Good vision and hearing are needed for the role.
• You must be able to notice small flaws such as streaks, missed vacuum spots, or smudges on glass and painted surfaces.
• You will be expected to inspect your own work and help review the work of teammates.
• A strong sense of urgency is important because customer time is valued.
• Strict compliance with uniform and grooming standards is required.

Candidate profile

The ideal hire is dependable, quick to learn, able to work well with others, and able to read and follow instructions. You should treat customer vehicles with care and respect, arrive on time, remain focused while on duty, and be comfortable driving both automatic and manual transmission vehicles. Availability to work Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays may be required based on production needs.
