Role overview

Domino’s is expanding its team in Alamo, Tennessee and is looking for delivery experts to join immediately. Responsibilities

• Deliver pizza and other products to customers within the assigned delivery zone.
• Use safe driving practices and complete multiple deliveries during a shift.
• Follow maps, navigate to addresses, and locate delivery destinations accurately.
• Carry food and beverages between the store, vehicle, and customer locations.
• Work across stairs, multi-story buildings, and other challenging delivery environments when needed.
• Provide courteous customer service while completing deliveries.
• Work independently and also coordinate effectively with the store team.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• A valid driver’s license is required, along with a driving record that passes review.
• Applicants must be able to pass a background check.
• A dependable vehicle and valid insurance are required unless using a company vehicle.
• Strong map-reading and navigation ability is needed.
• Must be able to work in adverse weather and handle varied delivery conditions.
• Must be able to perform repetitive work, follow instructions, and meet quality standards.
• Ability to work under pressure, make sound decisions, and provide excellent customer service is necessary.
• For company vehicle use, the driver must be at least 21 years old and have at least 2 years of driving history plus a clean driving record.

Working conditions and physical demands

The role may involve exposure to changing weather, sudden temperature shifts, food odors, cornmeal dust, compact work areas, hot equipment, and sharp or moving parts. In-store temperatures may range from 36 degrees in coolers up to 90 degrees or more in some areas.

Physical tasks can include walking, carrying, climbing, stooping, bending, reaching, and frequent hand use. Delivery work may require carrying items up and down stairs, including 5 or more flights. The job also involves regular driving, food handling, and movement around the store and delivery areas.

Additional physical details include repeated forward bending at the pizza station, continuous reaching in multiple directions, and frequent use of hands for dough shaping, pizza cutting, box assembly, and handling tools and containers. Vision and hearing requirements include phone communication, near and mid-range vision for in-store work, far and night vision for driving, and the ability to distinguish hot from cold surfaces.
