What you will do
- Examine incoming grievance and appeals paperwork to confirm it is complete and relevant.
- Determine the proper Line of Business using the defined criteria.
- Sort dispute categories according to client instructions and guidelines.
- Use multiple client systems to check and confirm member details.
- Prepare and standardize documents for the next stage of processing while following required procedures.
Qualifications
- You must be available to work scheduled shifts from Monday through Friday.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Prior experience with Facets is preferred.
- You need to follow HIPAA, data privacy, and security standards carefully.
- Strong attention to detail is necessary to maintain accuracy and productivity.
Preferred background
- Previous healthcare data entry or administrative experience is an advantage.
- Familiarity with client-specific processes and standard operating procedures is helpful.
- Good problem-solving ability is important for spotting inconsistencies and escalating concerns.
