This opening is for a remote Data Entry Clerk who will support the team by keeping database records current, handling administrative tasks, and helping the business stay organized and accurate. The role suits someone who works well independently, stays focused, and pays close attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Prepare paperwork for filing and related correspondence.
- Collect the supporting records needed to manage files efficiently, including income documents, tax filings, and asset realization details.
- Coordinate with internal teams to clarify missing items or request outstanding documents.
- Arrange file materials according to the organization’s naming standards.
- Work out income and surplus income obligations.
- Understand and apply legal rules across multiple provincial jurisdictions.
- Carry out jurisdiction-specific legal requirements as part of file handling.
- Run searches related to insolvency, Personal Property Security Act registrations, home valuations, and realizable value calculations.
- Prepare documents that require signatures.
- Accurately enter information from paper and scanned records into Ascend, the company’s internal system.
- Protect confidential information and maintain client trust by handling data securely.
- Complete electronic filing of statutory documents.
- Create documents for DocuSign.
- Take on additional duties as required.
Requirements
- Previous data entry experience with a strong record of accuracy.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong organization and prioritization abilities.
- Comfort using Microsoft Office tools such as Outlook, Excel, and Word, along with the ability to learn new software quickly.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM is considered an advantage.
- Ability to work on your own and complete tasks efficiently.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Good interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with colleagues.
