Gallagher Security is focused on creating greater value for customers through its people and solutions. With 88 years of history, the business has a long track record of innovation, from the early electric fence to modern security solutions that help improve productivity and efficiency.
Customer safety and asset protection are part of the standard offering, but the organisation also aims to push beyond traditional security and help customers see what more its solutions can do.
About the Role

- Work with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance is built into product design, development, and operational decision-making.
- Establish and maintain relationships with testing laboratories, standards organisations, and regulatory authorities.
- Monitor compliance programmes, key milestones, spending, and resourcing needs.
About You
You are comfortable simplifying complex standards and regulatory requirements into practical actions. You communicate with confidence, collaborate well across teams, and can influence a wide range of stakeholders while balancing technical detail with business priorities. You also bring strong leadership capability and sound commercial judgement.
What You’ll Bring
- At least 10 years of experience in product, electrical/electronic, or GRC environments, including people leadership.
- A relevant tertiary qualification; qualifications in electrical/electronic disciplines, risk management, CISM, or CISSP are preferred.
- Strong knowledge of product regulatory frameworks such as RCM, CE, FCC, and RoHS.
- Strong understanding of product certification schemes including UL, IEC, and EN standards.
- Working knowledge of electrical safety, radio frequency, cyber, and security standards.
- A proven record of leading compliance initiatives and explaining requirements clearly.
- Strong leadership skills, including mentoring, coaching, and developing effective teams.
- Commercial awareness with the ability to balance compliance, security, product quality, customer expectations, speed to market, and business goals.
- Desirable experience with cryptographic or cloud security standards.
