Role overview
The Commercial Strategy Manager will shape and drive Fluke’s field sales growth across the MEAT region (Middle East, Africa and Turkey). The position is focused on building commercial plans that increase revenue, widen market reach, and deepen customer relationships.
In this role, you will guide the commercial direction for a varied portfolio of products and solutions and turn strategy into practical execution with measurable outcomes. You will work closely with regional field sales leaders, product teams, marketing, and other stakeholders to support growth through the sales organization, channel network, and direct customer contact.
The job also calls for strong relationship-building with contacts at multiple levels, from engineering and procurement teams to senior executives, while coordinating internally to keep priorities aligned and growth initiatives moving forward.
Core responsibilities
- Create and roll out long-term commercial plans that support growth for priority accounts and ensure consistent execution across stakeholders.
- Use market intelligence, customer feedback, and internal information to spot opportunities, evaluate risk, and keep plans grounded in real market conditions.
- Set, monitor, and review KPIs to measure sales performance and identify where improvements are needed.
- Work with field sales teams on deal planning, deal design, and negotiation support.
- Build and execute growth plans to achieve or exceed sales and order goals for the MEAT field sales portfolio.
- Develop strong working relationships inside the business and with external partners to support alignment, quick execution, and problem resolution.
- Lead strategy, planning, and launch execution for new products within assigned product groups.
- Grow established product lines through new initiatives and targeted sales programs.
- Drive vertical and account penetration efforts to meet annual revenue and margin targets.
- Monitor results versus forecast, budget, and targets using CRM systems.
- Align account plans with customer business goals and maintain clear internal communication across Fluke.
- Engage frequently with key partners and end customers to strengthen and expand business relationships.
- Identify and qualify new opportunities that fit Fluke’s technology and product strengths in collaboration with Engineering and Product Management.
- Partner with commercial leadership on revenue growth actions and track progress against plans.
- Manage cross-sell opportunities through the funnel management process and keep the sales pipeline current.
- Handle customer feedback actively and work through issues to maintain strong satisfaction levels.
- Support the creation of strategic plans and annual business plans.
- Be prepared to travel across the region up to 25% of the time for customer engagement and sales development.
Required background
- A bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Engineering, or a science-related field is required.
- An MBA is considered an advantage.
- At least 5 years of experience in technical B2B sales or commercial roles is needed.
- Experience with technical and industrial products is important.
- Strong success in growing key account business and building durable customer relationships is expected.
- Hands-on experience with value-based selling, cross-selling, and identifying new business opportunities is required.
- The ability to interpret data and present insights clearly to both business and technical audiences is necessary.
- Advanced Excel ability and familiarity with data visualization or BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools is expected.
- Capability to develop and present new metrics that improve understanding of business performance is required.
