Role overview

Inizio Engage partners with a major biotechnology organization across commercial, patient solutions, and medical affairs functions. The organization is looking for a Clinical Educator to provide disease-state education to healthcare professionals and office personnel in primary care and specialist settings. The role uses approved materials and must stay aligned with program standards, compliance expectations, and direction from both Inizio leadership and the client.

What you'll do

Deliver detailed education on a designated disease state and its management approaches to healthcare providers.
Build and maintain productive relationships with key customers and stakeholders through educational support using approved resources.
Work strictly within compliance, legal, and regulatory requirements in all materials, discussions, and field activities.
Follow the client’s defined operating boundaries while collaborating with field peers and counterparts.
Complete all required Inizio and client training, along with competency assessments, within the required timelines.
Keep accurate daily records of office visits, interactions, and all required reporting.
Log time and expenses through the approved Inizio systems.
Maintain any professional registration or licensure required by Inizio and applicable state law.
Attend local and national meetings or conferences when requested to stay current on program updates and share best practices.
Care for client and company equipment and materials according to provided instructions.
Ensure all activities remain compliant with company policy, the code of conduct, and outside industry regulations.
Remain reachable during work hours to respond to questions and carry out assigned duties.
Hold a valid United States driver’s license at all times and immediately report any offenses or penalty-point changes.
Manage the assigned territory effectively and travel as needed, including overnight trips.
Carry out additional duties when requested.
Clinical Educators do not deliver nursing care, medical advice, treatment advice, or promote pharmaceutical products.

Requirements

You must be a qualified healthcare professional with an active state license; respiratory therapist or registered nurse credentials are preferred.
An associate’s degree, bachelor’s degree, BSN, or equivalent relevant work experience is required.
At least 3 years of experience in a specific disease state or a related specialty is needed; respiratory experience is preferred.
Background in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology sector as a clinical educator or in sales is preferred.
You should have strong professional communication and presentation abilities.
Ability to present effectively to physicians and different office personnel is necessary.
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills are needed, along with the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
You must be comfortable handling multiple responsibilities and territory priorities at once.
A self-directed work style with high personal motivation is important.
Ongoing professional development and commitment to maintaining clinical knowledge are expected.
Willingness to travel up to 75%, including overnight stays, is required, and you must live within the assigned territory.
You must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds and use standard office equipment.

Compensation and benefits

The base salary for this position is between $88,000 and $163,000 per year. Final pay will depend on experience, skills, internal equity, and business needs.
