Role Overview

Assetlink is hiring a dependable and motivated Cleaning Team Member for a full-time position at Brisbane Square in Brisbane City, Queensland. The work roster runs from Monday to Friday, 6:00 am to 2:06 pm.

This role suits someone with commercial or retail cleaning experience who wants to contribute to a team that helps maintain high standards in an onsite environment. Pay will follow the Cleaning Services Award 2020.

Key Duties

The role involves carrying out day-to-day cleaning tasks to support a clean, safe and pleasant workplace for building users and visitors.

Role Requirements

• You should present well, take initiative and be comfortable working independently.
• Previous experience in commercial or retail cleaning is preferred, although full on-the-job training will be provided.
• It is important to understand safe chemical handling and correct cleaning methods, or be willing to learn them.
• Experience using cleaning machinery such as scrubbers, buffers and car park sweepers is an advantage.
• You need a strong focus on safe work practices.
• You must be physically fit enough for routine duties and able to spend long periods walking.
• Good listening ability and the capacity to follow directions are essential.
• You must be able to communicate clearly in both spoken and written English.
• Flexibility to work additional hours and public holidays is required.
• Applicants must have valid work rights in Australia.
