Role overview

ABM UK is hiring a Cleaner for its Devonport Dockyard site in Plymouth, Devon. This role focuses on keeping office and welfare spaces clean, safe, and presentable while moving between buildings as needed.

Working location and hours

The position is based at Devonport Dockyard, Plymouth, PL1 4SG. It follows a Monday to Friday schedule of 35 hours per week. The standard shift window is Monday to Thursday from 07:30 to 15:15, including an unpaid 30-minute break, and Friday from 07:30 to 13:30. The final hours and shift pattern will be confirmed with the selected candidate.

Pay

The pay rate for this job is £13.45 per hour.

Main duties

You will be responsible for routine cleaning across office and welfare areas, ensuring the workspaces remain hygienic, orderly, and safe. The role is mainly indoors, though it requires walking between buildings as part of daily duties. You may also need to work in areas where PPE must be worn and where client safety rules and operational procedures must be followed.
