Class 3 Delivery Driver (Nights)

Role overview

7-Eleven Distribution Canada Corp. is seeking full-time Class 3 Delivery Drivers for its Edmonton, Alberta branch. This is a physically active role for dependable, driven people who are comfortable working in both cold and warm environments. The position focuses on accurate, efficient, and safe delivery work, with strong attention to fill rates and service quality.

This is not a seated, behind-the-wheel-only driving position. Drivers spend their shifts unloading products directly into retail chain stores and must be prepared for hands-on work that calls for stamina, strength, and a strong work ethic.

What you will do

• Deliver assorted products straight into customer retail locations.
• Move and unload freight by using tailgates, hand carts, and dollies; ramps are not used.
• Work 10-hour night shifts, four nights each week.
• Drive company-owned tandem axle trucks with automatic transmission.
• Keep logs up to date and complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Maintain a professional, service-oriented relationship with store personnel and coworkers.

Requirements

• Valid Class 3 driver’s licence and a current clean driver abstract with no more than 3 demerits.
• At least 2 years of experience driving heavy trucks; delivery experience is preferred.
• Ability to repeatedly lift and move items weighing up to 50 lbs during the shift.
• Comfortable working in both cold and warm conditions.
• Owns or can use a working smartphone for job-related tasks; a cell allowance is provided.
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude.
• Successful criminal background check required at the time of hiring.

Schedule and pay

This is a permanent full-time role. The schedule is night shift, four shifts per week, with a start time of 7:30 PM. The pay rate is $25.00 per hour.
