Role overview
Zurich is looking for confident, friendly, and self-driven customer care professionals to join the Claims Call Center team in early August 2026. This position includes a thorough six-week training program that prepares new hires for the role. The job is fully remote, including training.
Key responsibilities
- Receive and record first notice of loss claim reports through phone and non-phone channels quickly and accurately.
- Handle complicated claim questions and issues, and know when to escalate or involve others to ensure clear guidance and effective support.
- Work with internal teams and external clients to exchange details, verify facts, and resolve concerns efficiently.
- Share suggestions and feedback that help raise the standard of customer service.
- Follow established processes to stay aligned with company risk and compliance requirements.
Schedule and work setup
The shift is eight hours long and falls within operating hours of 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Monday through Friday, Central Standard Time. The role is fully remote, and candidates must live in the United States. Preferred time zones are CST, PST, and MST.

Training
New hires will complete six weeks of in-depth training, delivered remotely.
Home office requirements
- A dedicated workspace that is quiet and free from distractions
- Reliable high-speed internet with at least 5 Mbps upload and 10 Mbps download
Basic qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least six months of customer service experience
- Experience with data entry
Preferred qualifications
- Six months of call center experience
- Strong data entry ability and typing speed of 32 words per minute or higher
- Comfort using Windows-based systems and Microsoft Office
- Ability to move between multiple screens and browsers quickly and accurately
- Good reading comprehension and a professional manner
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving ability
- Prior insurance knowledge is preferred
Pay and compensation
The estimated hourly pay range for this role is $17.79 to $21.64, based on role, location, skills, and experience. The position is also eligible for a short-term incentive bonus of 5%. Compensation may vary by location, and candidates whose expectations are above the stated range are still encouraged to apply.
