About the Role

The Chairman & Founder will shape the organisation’s long-term direction, reputation, and value creation agenda. This leadership role is responsible for guiding the investment philosophy, making capital allocation decisions, managing key stakeholder relationships, and building strong governance practices. The position is central to setting a high standard of integrity, innovation, and sustainable growth across the firm and its portfolio activities.

Strategic Leadership

• Set and steer the firm’s long-range investment approach, capital deployment plan, and growth roadmap.
• Spot, assess, and act on investment opportunities that align with the organisation’s return and risk profile.
• Represent the firm in important partnerships, investor discussions, public appearances, and strategic collaborations.

Governance and Oversight

• Build and lead the Board of Directors and define governance structures along with oversight standards.
• Safeguard legal, ethical, and fiduciary standards across investment and corporate activities.
• Hire, coach, and support senior executives across the company and its portfolio businesses.

Capital Formation and Stakeholder Management

• Drive fundraising efforts involving institutional investors, family offices, sovereign funds, and high-net-worth individuals.
• Maintain productive relationships with limited partners, regulators, banks, and advisory partners.

Thought Leadership and Brand Building

• Act as a public-facing leader at industry panels, investment forums, and international events.
• Strengthen the company’s public image through PR efforts, ESG leadership, and strategic messaging.

Innovation and Expansion

• Promote innovation in investment processes, digital adoption, and exploration of new markets.
• Support global expansion by identifying cross-border opportunities and partnerships.

Qualifications

• At least 15 years of proven experience in investment management, private equity, venture capital, corporate finance, or entrepreneurship.
• Strong grasp of financial markets, macroeconomics, and asset classes across different geographies.
• Demonstrated success in building, scaling, or leading large enterprises or funds valued in the multi-million or billion-dollar range.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building abilities.
• MBA, CFA, or an equivalent academic background is preferred; international education or experience is an added advantage.
