Role Overview
Plush is looking for a Category Specialist to help grow product categories across e-commerce marketplaces and the brand’s own website. The role combines category planning, marketplace execution, merchandising, analytics, and cross-functional coordination to improve sales, profitability, and customer experience.
Category Management & Business Growth
- Support the expansion of assigned product categories across all sales channels.
- Monitor category revenue, margins, inventory health, and opportunities for growth.
- Study competitors and the market to identify trends and gaps.
- Partner with product, marketing, operations, and design teams during new launches.
- Prepare business cases and suggest new products, bundles, and promotional offers.
- Review customer feedback and translate it into product improvement ideas.
Marketplace Management
- Maintain product presence across platforms such as Amazon, Flipkart, Cred, BigBasket, Blinkit, Zepto, Swiggy Instamart, and other growing channels.
- Keep catalog details, pricing, product content, images, and inventory information accurate and updated.
- Track performance measures such as sales, conversions, ratings, and visibility on marketplaces.
- Work with platform account managers to strengthen discoverability and category growth.
- Run platform promotions, deal participation, and merchandising activities.
D2C Website & Merchandising
- Support day-to-day management of the Plush website experience.
- Create and refresh landing pages, collections, bundles, and promotional campaigns.
- Review website performance and identify ways to improve conversion.
- Collaborate with design and marketing teams on product pages, content, and customer journeys.
- Track merchandising performance and assortment strategy on the website.
Analytics & Strategic Projects
- Prepare weekly and monthly business reports.
- Develop dashboards and monitor key performance indicators across channels.
- Assist founders with special growth initiatives and strategic assignments.
- Research new categories, customer behavior, competitor moves, and expansion opportunities.
- Lead cross-functional projects from idea stage through execution.

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
