Cashier

Overview

Petro-Canada is hiring a cashier for its Banff, Alberta location. This role is based at the physical workplace and cannot be done remotely.

Language Requirement

English is required for this position.

Education

A secondary school graduation certificate is needed.

Experience

No prior experience is required, as full training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle transactions at the cash register accurately.
• Scan products and process purchases.
• Accept customer payments for merchandise or services.
• Reconcile cash and shift totals against sales at the end of the day.
• Encourage additional purchases through suggestive selling.
• Restock shelves and keep the counter area clean.
• Welcome customers and provide a friendly front-line experience.
• Bag or wrap purchased items as needed.
• Deliver helpful customer service.
• Support promotional activities when required.
