Capacity Planning

About the role

This position sits within RF360 Singapore Pte., Ltd. and is part of the Engineering Group, specifically Hardware Engineering. The role focuses on planning and optimizing manufacturing capacity, resources, and long-term site strategy for SAW and BAW filter production.

What you will do

• Help develop and refine methods, time standards, capacity models, operating sequences, data analysis approaches, and production line layouts for front-end and back-end manufacturing.
• Assist in rolling out standard factory planning models, tools, and methods, and help assess how effective they are.
• Support the efficient use of production facilities, including equipment positioning, workflow, space usage, plant layout, office layout, expansion, and relocation efforts.
• Participate in Global Equipment Strategy reviews by assessing a broad range of complex equipment, tools, and fixtures.
• Contribute to Global Manufacturing Strategy work related to technology decisions, site selection, business continuity planning, and execution.
• Support capacity increases or reductions and production transfers between sites based on business priorities and long-term strategic goals.
• Assist with capital projects through job sampling, cost justification, and cost-benefit analysis.
• Track plant capital spending to help ensure expenditures remain within budget.
• Work alongside engineering teams to improve productivity, OEE, and profitability while monitoring project progress against timelines and targets.
• Use time standards and capacity modeling to build forecasts for output and resource needs, then simulate and analyze the proposed design.

Profile and qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or a related discipline is required.
• Applicants should also have a degree or higher in any engineering field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities are important for this role.
• The role requires someone who can perform well under pressure and stay highly committed to their work.
• Good planning, analytical, and organizational skills are expected.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is needed.
• Experience with programming tools such as Python or VBA, along with AutoCAD knowledge, would be an advantage.
• The ideal candidate is energetic, resourceful, self-driven, and able to communicate effectively with others.
