Overview
Community College Gippsland is hiring a casual Cafe Assistant for its Warragul campus. This is a weekday-based, onsite role for someone who enjoys delivering warm service, quality food and coffee, and a positive café experience for students, staff, volunteers, and visitors.
The position suits a friendly, energetic person who thrives in a busy environment, takes pride in service standards, and is comfortable contributing to a small team. Applications close on Friday, 10 July 2026.
Key Duties
- Prepare snacks, light meals, and catering items for meetings and events.
- Make coffee and other hot drinks.
- Keep food and beverage displays topped up and ready for service.
- Handle customer orders, process cash and transactions, and serve meals.
- Maintain a clean, hygienic, and safe work area in accordance with the Food Act 1984.
- Carry out additional tasks assigned by the Cafe Manager.

Child Safety Requirements
