About the Role

This opportunity is with Mercor, a company that brings top-tier creative and technical professionals together with leading AI research organizations. You will work as a Business & Professional Services Expert in a remote contract role focused on helping evaluate and improve AI systems through high-quality professional and business-oriented tasks.

Role Responsibilities

• Design tasks that demand careful business analysis and accurate adherence to instructions.
• Build detailed, multi-step prompts using realistic workplace materials such as business plans, reports, and presentation decks.
• Assess how well AI models interpret professional documents and follow instructions.
• Develop clear, objective scoring rubrics for model evaluation.
• Partner with AI research teams to support the creation of well-structured professional outputs.
• Work autonomously and on an asynchronous schedule while meeting deadlines and contributing to model improvement.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in management consulting, business strategy, marketing, sales, human resources, organizational development, business operations, or general management is required.

Compensation & Work Arrangement

This is a contract position with pay of $60 to $80 per hour. The expected commitment is 15 to 20 hours per week, and the role is fully remote.
