About the role

The Business Development Manager will help expand Avolution’s presence across APAC for ABACUS, its enterprise architecture platform. Responsibilities

  • Connect with potential customers throughout APAC, understand their business pain points, and present ABACUS as the most suitable solution.
  • Partner with pre-sales colleagues to run demonstrations, presentations, and customised consultations that highlight the platform’s strengths.
  • Handle the complete sales journey, including qualifying leads, negotiating terms, and closing opportunities.
  • Work alongside pre-sales and technical teams to deepen product understanding and respond to customer requirements.
  • Build and sustain strong relationships with senior decision-makers to support long-term account growth.
  • Coordinate with the marketing team to improve lead generation and conversion outcomes.
  • Keep informed about market developments and enterprise architecture best practices to strengthen customer conversations.
  • Update CRM records accurately and consistently to track pipeline activity and client engagement.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in software sales or SaaS, preferably in enterprise architecture, IT, or digital transformation environments.
  • Strong consultative selling ability with the confidence to understand complex business problems and explain software value clearly.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, with comfort speaking to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Capability to manage several active sales opportunities across different APAC markets.
  • A self-driven, target-oriented approach with the ability to work well independently and collaboratively.
  • Working knowledge of CRM systems and structured sales processes.
