Role Overview
This is a regular full-time Business Development Executive role within the retail sales function based in Panipat, Haryana. The position focuses on building business growth across retail accounts while strengthening customer relationships and supporting profitable expansion.
What You Will Do
- Shape and deliver growth plans for assigned accounts, aligned to targets for value, volume, gross profit, and market share.
- Handle trade discussions with customers to secure outcomes that support mutual and profitable growth.
- Prepare joint business plans with accounts to create shared growth initiatives and win-win outcomes.
- Plan the promotional and activation calendar and coordinate execution with account partners.
- Develop strong customer connections and use market feedback to build strategic plans that improve category growth and share.
- Strengthen account partnerships to identify new ways to attract shoppers to the frozen category and create better in-store visibility.
- Work with customer and internal marketing teams to track food trends and launch new products that keep the category engaging.
- Use omnichannel opportunities with customers to improve category reach, penetration, and consumer recruitment.
- Partner with internal commercial teams to maintain financial accuracy, including reconciliations and NDC-related processes.
- Coordinate with supply chain teams to improve forecasting and maximize fill rates while maintaining strong service levels.
- Simplify and improve internal processes so they remain efficient and future-ready.
What You Need
- 3 to 8 years of experience in FMCG retail, including traditional trade, modern trade, and e-commerce.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
- Ability to interpret data and turn it into practical business insights.
- Strong teamwork, relationship-building, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Solid business planning and presentation capability.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, changing market environment.
- Ability to spot commercial opportunities and convert them into results.
- Confidence in working under pressure, meeting deadlines, and completing assigned goals.
- Prior exposure to managing Reliance accounts will be considered an advantage.
Team Environment
You will join the Retail Sales team, which supports growth across traditional trade, modern trade, and e-commerce channels. The function includes Sales Executives, TSIs, Supervisors, and Line Managers who work together to expand market presence and keep sales execution on track.
