Role overview
This opportunity is with a major Queensland Government organisation that is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support a portfolio of technology initiatives in a customer technology setting. Key responsibilities
- Lead workshops and work with business stakeholders to uncover, clarify, and analyse requirements.
- Capture business, functional, and configuration requirements in clear documentation.
- Prepare business requirements specifications and functional specifications.
- Review existing processes and help define improved future-state solutions.
- Maintain requirements traceability and keep stakeholders informed throughout delivery.
- Partner with delivery teams, technical specialists, and external parties to help drive successful project outcomes.
Ideal candidate
- Demonstrated background as a Business Analyst on technology or digital initiatives.
- Strong ability to facilitate workshops and engage a range of stakeholders.
- Hands-on experience documenting business and functional requirements.
- Well-developed capability in process mapping and business analysis.
- Comfort working across business and technical teams.
- Experience in large, complex organisations.
