Role Overview
This is a remote opportunity with a confidential, fast-growing stealth startup. The internship is aimed at someone who is naturally curious, detail-focused, and eager to work alongside founders while learning how to turn data into practical business decisions.
What You’ll Do
- Gather, organize, and evaluate both structured and unstructured datasets.
- Run exploratory analysis to uncover trends, relationships, and unusual patterns.
- Create and update dashboards and reports that support business decision-making.
- Use SQL to pull, combine, and shape data efficiently.
- Support the creation of KPIs and business metrics.
- Work with product, marketing, and business stakeholders on analysis tasks.
- Communicate findings in a clear, actionable way.
What You Need
- You should currently be studying or have recently finished a degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a closely related subject.
- Good working knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets is important.
- Basic SQL skills are required.
- Familiarity with Python libraries such as Pandas and NumPy, or similar tools, will be useful.
- You should understand data visualization platforms such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability are expected.
Preferred Background
- Hands-on experience with real datasets or analytics projects is a plus.
- Knowledge of business metrics and how to track performance will help.
- Exposure to A/B testing or statistical methods is desirable.
- Comfort in startup-style, fast-moving environments is preferred.
