Business Analyst

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to support the delivery of insurance technology initiatives in Singapore. This position calls for someone who can bridge business and technology teams, helping translate stakeholder needs into clear requirements and delivery-ready documentation.

What the role involves

You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, project teams, architects, developers, and testers to shape requirements, contribute to delivery planning, and keep project documentation accurate and easy to follow. The role suits a professional who combines solid business analysis skills, awareness of the insurance domain, and enough technical understanding to operate confidently across both business and IT discussions.

Key Requirements

The ideal candidate should have more than 7 years of Business Analyst experience, ideally gained in insurance, reinsurance, financial services, or a similar environment. You should be comfortable gathering and refining requirements, writing detailed documentation, and supporting end-to-end delivery in a complex, multi-stakeholder setting.

Experience working with user stories, process maps, functional specifications, and related delivery documents is important. You should also be able to engage effectively with technical teams, understand APIs, integrations, data movement, and system interactions at a functional level, and contribute meaningfully to Agile ways of working. Familiarity with Azure DevOps is an added advantage.

Working Style

This role requires strong communication, stakeholder coordination, and facilitation skills. You should be organised, self-driven, proactive, and able to manage multiple systems and dependencies while working with minimal supervision.
