Role Summary

The Brand and Communications Manager will lead Badrgo’s brand positioning, public reputation, PR activity, and social media presence across multiple markets, locations, and product lines. The role ensures the brand is presented consistently and compellingly across corporate messaging, press, social communities, and influencer partnerships. This position will work closely with Creative, Digital, and the Head of Marketing, while using tools such as Hootsuite to manage social media activity at scale and support the broader integrated marketing plan.

Key Responsibilities

  • Shape and maintain the company’s brand strategy, visual identity standards, and tone of voice across all operating markets.
  • Make sure branding remains aligned across campaigns, the app, website, offline materials, and partner-facing assets.
  • Carry out regular brand reviews and refresh guidelines when market feedback, product changes, or competitor movements require it.

  • Build and manage posting schedules for organic content, campaigns, national occasions, product launches, and partnership activations, with calendars approved at least two weeks ahead.
  • Brief, review, and approve creative output from external social and creative agencies, including graphics, short videos, and motion assets, ensuring timely delivery and brand consistency.
  • Identify, assess, negotiate with, and manage influencers, bloggers, and brand ambassadors relevant to local and regional audiences.
  • Use social media and AI tools, including Hootsuite and Claude, to schedule content, monitor results, automate workflows, and improve efficiency.
  • Coordinate with international and regional offices so their social channels stay current, relevant, and aligned with brand standards, acting as the central coordination point for cross-border social media activity.
  • Perform social listening and sentiment tracking, escalate issues to Customer Support and Operations immediately, and share structured insights with the Business Support Lead and Digital Marketing Lead.
  • Manage day-to-day posting and community engagement across channels, including monitoring comments, replying to mentions, and keeping the community voice active and responsive.
  • Align social and PR work with acquisition, retention, and partnership objectives in collaboration with Creative and Digital teams.
  • Build and run an influencer and ambassador program suited to rider and driver audiences in Qatar and other markets.
  • Track brand perception across digital and traditional media and prepare monthly sentiment reports for the Head of Marketing.

Qualifications and Experience

Applicants should bring at least 8 years of experience in brand management, corporate communications, or public relations, including a minimum of 3 years in a managerial position. A strong record of managing brand identity and external communications for consumer-facing businesses is essential.
