Company Overview

Fatima Hussein Law Firm (FHL) is a boutique legal practice based in the UAE, established by Advocate Fatima Hussain, an Emirati lawyer with more than 15 years of courtroom practice before UAE Courts and the Public Prosecution. The firm has built its reputation on managing intricate, sensitive, and high-value matters, including extradition, INTERPOL Red Notices, money laundering, cybercrime, and sanctions-related disputes, with a strong emphasis on discretion and strategic representation.

In addition to criminal defense, the firm advises and represents clients across civil litigation, corporate and commercial advisory, family law, real estate, employment, construction, intellectual property, and alternative dispute resolution. Its client base includes entrepreneurs, corporations, and investors, and the firm currently handles more than 200 active matters for roughly 106 clients. FHL’s broader mission is to raise the standard of legal practice in the UAE and grow into a leading regional and international firm in criminal defense, complex dispute resolution, and advanced legal strategy.

Role Summary

  • Carry out legal research on UAE legislation, regulations, and relevant procedures.
  • Organize case files, supporting evidence, and hearing notes for court and arbitration matters.
  • Attend meetings with clients and help develop case strategy.
  • Coordinate with experts, counterparties, public authorities, and other external stakeholders.
  • Support analysis of complex domestic and cross-border legal issues.
  • Track regulatory changes and interpret their impact on ongoing matters.

Candidate Profile

Familiarity with UAE law, court practice, and regulatory systems is important, as is comfort with matters that involve multiple jurisdictions.

Excellent English communication skills are required, and Arabic fluency is a major advantage. The role also calls for strong organization, the ability to handle several matters at once, and a calm, discreet, client-focused approach.
