Job Overview
This role is based in Mumbai and focuses on meeting order-booking, sales revenue, unit sales, and collection goals within planned timelines while maintaining high customer satisfaction for projects across India.
Core Responsibilities
- Deliver the assigned individual targets as well as the combined targets of the sales team across the relevant products and services in India.
- Develop a prospect database using both internal and external sources of information.
- Map industries and business verticals to ensure thorough market coverage.
- Build, track, and strengthen a healthy sales funnel.
- Create tailored proposal decks and present strategies for different loyalty formats in coordination with the marketing team.
- Study the market in depth by tracking competitors, intelligence, and market share movements.
- Anticipate market requirements and shape plans for new products and services accordingly.
- Design a roadmap to increase both customer preference and wallet share.
- Plan, run, and sustain loyalty and rewards programs.
- Develop customer contests and referral initiatives using app-based, digital, and other channels.
- Execute BTL activities such as customer meets and roadshows.
- Build strong customer engagement through events and exhibitions.
- Carry out sales-led site-based campaigns.
- Use analytical thinking to assess the full customer journey across channels and touchpoints.
- Maintain a repository of customer success stories and testimonials.
- Track customer needs now and in the future, monitor competitors, and adapt the sales approach as needed.
Requirements
- Previous exposure to B2B corporate sales is required, along with strong sales and marketing awareness. Experience dealing with Chief Marketing Officers and Chief HR Officers will be a plus.
- Ability to create and nurture strong professional relationships and build industry or functional networks.
- Mature judgment in business situations, with confidence in making practical and balanced decisions.
- Proven initiative and resourcefulness, with the ability to plan well and deliver against tight deadlines.
- Comfort handling a heavy workload, multitasking effectively, and shifting priorities without losing focus.
- Strong negotiation ability, good resource management, and the capability to operate effectively in challenging situations.
- Experience in sales and marketing of products or concepts in sectors such as real estate, aviation, banking, or hospitality is preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
- Strong organization, analytical ability, detailed planning, and project coordination skills.
- Professional conduct with a strong sense of integrity, trust-building, and credibility with internal and external stakeholders.
- Fast learning ability, open-minded thinking, and a willingness to go beyond conventional approaches to meet client expectations.
- Curiosity, teamwork, self-drive, and a strong sense of urgency are important for success in this role.
Stakeholder Interaction
Internal stakeholders include Sales, Marketing, Engineering, and Finance teams. External interactions will involve corporates, HNI clients, brokers, property consultants, customers, and service partners.
Education and Experience
A full-time graduate degree is required. A full-time MBA is preferred but not mandatory. Candidates should also have a consistent record of meeting sales targets through a network of loyalty partners.
