About the Role

This position sits within Enterprise Technology and supports service adoption efforts for large-scale platforms and tools, including Microsoft 365. The role combines content strategy, team leadership, stakeholder coordination, and operational oversight in a global environment.
You will lead the creation and approval of end-user communications that encourage awareness, adoption, and business value from technology initiatives. The work involves translating complex technology updates into clear, practical messages and ensuring content is delivered in the right formats for a wide internal audience.
This is a non-client-facing position with no chargeability requirement. It offers strong flexibility, including the ability to work from a home office with limited travel.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, create, review, and sign off on end-user communications aligned to the change strategy or awareness-led communication needs.
- Develop strong, creative communication plans and polished US English content for enterprise technology programs.
- Deliver content across multiple channels such as email, Viva Engage, Teams, intranet articles, EY Daily News Alerts, and video.
- Convert the technology roadmap into audience-friendly messages and clear next steps for users.
- Lead, coach, and support direct reports, including both employees and contractors.
- Allocate work, monitor deadlines, and ensure outputs meet guidelines, KPIs, and SLAs.
- Strengthen team capability in change enablement, communication, editing, design, and creativity.
- Oversee capacity, collaboration, review cycles, production standards, and knowledge sharing within the team.
- Work closely with content peers and shared content creators to keep technology site operations running smoothly.
- Build strong partnerships across service adoption, IT, corporate brand, and other stakeholder groups.
- Coordinate effectively with program teams, management, and indirect contributors across related workstreams.
- Operate successfully in a global matrix structure and maintain productive relationships across geographies and time zones.
- Track partner and client context within End User Technology and the wider EY environment.
- Improve project and people management outcomes through agile ways of working and continuous knowledge sharing.
- Help shape the function by contributing to people, process, and metrics improvements.
- Set up effective approval flows, feedback mechanisms, and reporting for stakeholders and leadership.
- Use analytics and feedback to prioritize work and refine communication approaches.
- Partner with service adoption leads and peers to align related plans and ensure smooth integration of work.
- Provide strategic direction, support decision-making, and challenge assumptions where needed.
- Maintain a broad view of the overall program and encourage information sharing across teams.
- Help the team navigate fast-paced work, high expectations, unclear success measures, repeated pauses and restarts, and ongoing operating model changes.
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of experience in senior communications or technology program management with user engagement and service adoption exposure.
- Background in user behavior change, end-user adoption, productivity tools, or Microsoft 365 products and services.
- Experience leading teams in a large organization and working with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of how technology affects business operations and processes.
- Ability to manage people across locations, cultures, and time zones, including remote or work-from-home staff.
- Working knowledge of data analysis and visualization tools such as Excel and Power BI.
- College degree in communications, marketing, or a technology-related field; communications is preferred.
- Excellent US English written and verbal communication skills, including editing and executive-level stakeholder support.
- Strategic thinking with the ability to ask the right questions, analyze data, and bring innovative ideas.
- Experience handling a broad and complex corporate technology environment.
- Capability to manage resources and budgets.
- Comfort juggling several tasks and priorities at the same time.
- Detail-oriented approach, process discipline, and a strong focus on customer advocacy and continuous improvement.
- Interest in M365 Copilot and in using AI to improve automation and efficiency.
