About the Role
Noorka Logistics is looking for a careful and driven Assistant Accountant to join its finance team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This opportunity suits someone who enjoys accounting work, wants to develop a long-term career in finance, and is eager to contribute in a fast-paced logistics setting. The selected candidate will help with routine accounting tasks and support the upkeep of reliable financial records.
Key Responsibilities
- Enter day-to-day financial transactions and keep accounting records up to date.
- Draft invoices, payment vouchers, receipts, and journal entries.
- Provide support for accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
- Match bank statements and keep track of financial movements.
- Maintain accurate records for expenses, payments, and company accounts.
- Help prepare monthly financial statements and management reports.
- Assist with VAT records and compliance-related documentation.
- File and organize accounting papers and financial documents.
- Support audit preparation and other finance tasks as needed.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a similar discipline.
- Between 1 and 3 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
- Working understanding of accounting basics and financial reporting.
- Good command of MS Office tools, especially Excel.
- Familiarity with accounting software will be considered an advantage.
- Strong number skills, analytical ability, and problem-solving approach.
- High attention to detail with solid organizational skills.
