Role Overview
JDI IT is hiring an ERP Application Specialist to support one of the organization’s largest ERP environments. In this role, you will partner with Finance, Payroll, and other business teams to strengthen application support, improve reporting, and deliver solutions that create measurable business value. This position is fully on-site.
Salary: CAD 61,000 to 85,000 per year.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide support for ERP applications, including configuration and ongoing improvements, with emphasis on JD Edwards Finance and Payroll modules.
- Serve as a primary contact for application support, including troubleshooting, technical guidance, and root-cause analysis.
- Analyze data to build reports and dashboards that help guide important business decisions.
- Work directly with business stakeholders to understand needs and support configuration, solution design, and testing activities.
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Keep internal and external stakeholders informed, flag risks early, and escalate issues when needed.
- Translate technical details into clear, practical language for non-technical audiences.
Requirements
- A post-secondary degree or college diploma in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of professional experience.
- Background supporting Finance and Payroll processes.
- Exposure to JD Edwards and ERP environments is considered an advantage.
- Experience with data visualization, dashboard development, and business intelligence tools is an asset.
- Strong analytical thinking with a naturally curious, independent problem-solving approach.
- Comfort working in varied and fast-changing work situations.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and focused on results.
- Strong communication skills, including verbal, written, and presentation abilities.
- Good technical aptitude and a mindset geared toward continuous improvement.
