Account Manager (m/w/d)

About the Role

This position is for a customer-facing account manager in Darmstadt within a mechatronics-focused environment. The role is being filled on behalf of a client that develops and manufactures innovative solutions. Recruitment is handled directly for the employer through a staffing partner.

Key Responsibilities

• You will look after existing customers and support the sales team in day-to-day operations.
• Incoming enquiries, orders, and tenders need to be received and processed carefully.
• You will help maintain and develop the assigned sales territory.
• The role includes preparing and supporting sales activities, as well as contributing to sales and marketing materials.
• Internal and external customer meetings must be organised and coordinated, including the preparation before meetings and follow-up afterward.
• You will keep customer, contract, and master data up to date and manage documents in a structured way.

Requirements

• A completed commercial apprenticeship is required.
• Previous experience in internal sales or a similar role is expected.
• You should be confident using MS Office; knowledge of ERP systems such as NAVISION is an advantage.
• Very good German skills in speaking and writing are required, while good English is helpful.
• The role calls for a strong service mindset and a well-organised way of working.
• Applicants must have their primary residence in Germany.
