Role Overview
An experienced Account Executive is sought to join the Infrastructure and Cloud sales function in Melbourne. The role suits someone with a strong background in IT sales and a proven ability to develop client relationships while promoting multi-vendor solutions, consulting services, and managed service offerings.
You will work in a driven and energetic team, with access to ongoing support, training, and development in a flexible workplace.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and grow relationships with both existing and prospective clients, with a focus on winning new business in the mid-market segment of 100 to 1,000 seats.
- Create and deliver strategic account and territory plans designed to achieve quarterly and yearly sales targets.
- Partner with marketing, pre-sales, technical teams, and strategic vendors to build and manage a healthy pipeline for products, services, and managed services.
- Present the company’s solutions to C-level leaders and other senior stakeholders in a clear, value-focused way.
- Spot customer challenges and connect them to solutions across Cloud, Connectivity, Networking, Security, Datacentre, Productivity, and Backup & Recovery.
- Approach customer needs with honesty and transparency while staying responsive and proactive.
- Remain self-driven, enthusiastic, and quick to respond.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in IT sales.
- Proven success in selling large and complex technology solutions at the mid-market level.
- Strong commercial judgement, along with creative selling and negotiation ability for complex situations across different stakeholder levels.
- A strong commitment to building long-term client relationships and delivering excellent service.
- Self-motivation, strong interpersonal ability, and excellent communication skills.
- A high level of professionalism, strategic thinking, and good planning and organisation skills.
