Role Overview
haku is hiring a driven and experienced Account Executive to join its expanding SaaS sales organization. In this mid-market role, you will sell haku’s fundraising technology to nonprofit organizations by managing the complete sales journey, from identifying prospects and evaluating leads to negotiating and closing business. Success in this position calls for a strong focus on results, excellent communication, and the ability to build trusted relationships. Experience in fundraising or technology sales to nonprofits is an advantage, though it is not mandatory.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Own the full revenue-generating process for haku’s fundraising solutions, from first outreach through final close.
- Prospect actively to create new opportunities, qualify inbound interest, and build relationships through networking and industry conferences.
- Serve as a credible advisor who can identify a prospect’s business challenges and align haku’s solution to those needs.
- Consistently work toward and exceed quarterly and annual targets, with performance tied to incentive compensation.
- Maintain sales activity and revenue forecasts in HubSpot with accuracy and discipline.
- Work closely with Customer Experience, Product, and Marketing teams to ensure a smooth end-to-end customer journey.
Candidate Profile
We are looking for someone with 4–7+ years of SaaS sales experience and a proven history of meeting or outperforming quota. The right candidate should be comfortable managing the complete sales cycle, including discovery, qualification, negotiation, contract execution, and close. Experience with MEDDICC or MEDDPICC sales methodologies is important, especially using metrics, economic buyers, decision criteria, decision processes, champion development, and competitive positioning. This role also requires the ability to handle complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders, including executives and cross-functional buying groups. Strong pipeline management, accurate forecasting, CRM hygiene, and solid qualification discipline are essential. Prior success selling products with annual contract values in the $20K–$150K+ ARR range is preferred, along with experience selling at events, conferences, and through outbound prospecting. Familiarity with HubSpot or similar CRM tools is needed, and the role may require travel for customer meetings, conferences, and industry events.
