Role overview
This full-time warehouse role reports to the Operations Manager or Warehouse Manager and supports day-to-day warehouse work such as loading, repacking, inventory handling, and upkeep of the facility.
What you will do
This is a physically demanding position that involves loading bulk and route trucks, checking outbound shipments, and receiving incoming goods. You will use order sheets to assemble loads with a forklift and an electric pallet jack, follow shipping and receiving paperwork accurately, and work according to warehouse instructions while keeping the area tidy and safe. The job may involve working in different weather conditions.
You should be prepared to handle a high daily volume of product cases, repeatedly lifting cases weighing 20 to 45 pounds over long periods. The scheduled working hours are Monday to Friday from 10:00am to 6:00pm, although these may change based on operational needs.
Execution responsibilities
- Select the correct products and flavors from warehouse inventory and load them into route truck bays.
- Make sure stock is rotated properly in both the warehouse and on trucks according to expiry dates.
- Repack and clean product in line with company standards.
- Discard damaged or out-of-code product once it has been approved by the Operations Manager.
- Keep the warehouse clean by removing trash each night, sweeping daily, and using the floor scrubber when needed.
Skills, experience, and requirements
Experience in a warehouse setting is needed for this role. Forklift experience is an advantage. A valid full driver’s license is required because you may occasionally be asked to help move trucks. You should be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds of inventory and/or promotional displays. English is required, and knowledge of additional languages is considered beneficial.
Compensation
The expected annual base pay for this position is between CAD 48,284 and CAD 53,366. Final compensation may vary depending on qualifications, skills, experience, and work location, and the range may be updated in the future.
